As temperatures are expected to continue to plunge in the coming weeks, many people will be thinking about the best method of keeping the home warm and cosy during the cold spells. Most would not be thinking about using an Air Conditioning Unit though! 

An Air Conditioning Unit operating on heating mode consumes only 25% of the energy needed compared to  an electric heater, which would prove a significant £££ saving in winter and also has the benefit of cooling during the summer months.
Although an air conditioning unit can be more expensive to purchase than a small electric heater or a gas heater, using an A/C is much more energy-efficient when compared to the heat it generates.

Who are we?

”Leicester Aircon” was launched as a trading division of WB Office Equipment Ltd back in 2006, (initially as a small part of the 20 year old Office Fit-out company) as a direct result of customers asking where to find a reliable, professional and honest Air Conditioning Installation company.

Year on Year as the company grew, so did the proportion of Air Conditioning work. Clearly we were giving our valued customers what they wanted.

In June 2012 “Leicester Aircon Ltd” was incorporated in its own right to enable our focus and effort to be maximised further.

Today “Leicester Aircon Ltd” and “WB Office Equipment Ltd” are still sister companies based in a shared 3500sq ft Office and Warehouse in Wigston (South Leicester).

85% of our work is now Air Conditioning based. 90% of this work is for customers based within Leicestershire.

All our Engineers live in Leicestershire just like our customers, they work much like a family. They help each other, share information and work together to achieve the best possible outcome.
